NROL-65 and NROL-35 are an American reconnaissance satellites operated by the National Reconnaissance Office,launched in August 2013 and December 2014 respectively, from Vandenberg Air Force Base in Central California. Details of these mission are classified by the US military, however numerous independent analysts and amateur satellite watchers have since observed these satellites in orbit. These KH-11 satellites are believed to be used to provide high-resolution optical and infrared imagery for US intelligence agencies.
