These pyrotechnic images were created by directly igniting consumer fireworks directly on light sensitive paper. 
Erratic sparks and propulsions from roman candles, bottle rockets, and firecrackers manifest as organic forms
and colors, bringing to mind both the cosmic and the microscopic. Each unique photogram, some as large
singular prints, others traced across three sheets as triptychs, offers a glimpse of the physical constants of
nature intertwining with the randomness of the universe.
